After a few days of 100 plus degree temps, we have some relief!
After burning my feet while walking barefoot through the grass to hang laundry on the line today, the rain came!
After two weeks of hot, dry temps and the smoke from the giant forest fire just over the ridge blanketing my town, the temperature dropped and the cool breezes are blowing through my home!
Thank you, God!
yay!!! also, just wondering why you would hang laundry out to dry, if it would just end up smelling like smoke? maybe it wouldn't have mattered since it was inevitable anyway.....but yay for rain!!!
